Hatsukokoro Ginrei is a very affordable knife with a fine finish and a thin, refined edge. The core steel is Gingami #3, an excellent stainless steel with a hardness of 61 HRC. The core steel is surrounded by two layers of stainless steel with a coarse Nashiji finish. The handle is octagonal and made of bubinga.
