Care Instructions

A wooden cutting board can last for many years when properly cared for. Wash the board by hand using a small amount of dish soap and as little water as possible. Dry it after cleaning and never leave it soaking in water or put it in the dishwasher.

Before first use

• Apply a thin layer of food-grade mineral oil to the board.
• Allow the oil to soak in for approximately 15 minutes, then wipe off any excess.

Regular maintenance

• Apply food-grade mineral oil whenever the wood starts to feel dry.
• For a more thorough treatment, apply a generous amount of oil and leave it overnight. Wipe off any excess oil the following day.
• Stubborn stains can be gently scrubbed with coarse salt.
• Always store the cutting board in a dry place.
