Kashima Migaki is a stylish Japanese knife series with clean lines, high precision and a distinctly modern look. The series comprises six models and is made in Seki, one of Japan's best-known knife-making cities.
The blades are made from F440AF stainless monosteel with approximately 0.7 per cent carbon. The steel is an improved version of classic 440A and offers a good combination of edge retention, toughness and easy maintenance. The monosteel construction gives the blade a clean, uniform appearance without visible lamination lines. The blade faces have been polished to a highly reflective Migaki finish with a distinct mirror effect. The finish highlights the knives' clean geometry and gives the series an exclusive appearance. The knives are carefully ground with thin, efficient geometry for low friction and excellent cutting performance.
The octagonal handles are made from stabilized maple with vivid turquoise-green colour variations. The stabilization process makes the wood more resistant to moisture and movement, while giving each handle an individual pattern.

Rostfritt stål
Clean the knife after use.
Wash by hand using the soft side of a dish sponge and a little dishwashing liquid.
Rinse the blade especially thoroughly after contact with salty foods.

Avoid:

Dishwashers.
Leaving the knife in water.
