Restoration

Give a worn or damaged knife a new lease on life. As part of a restoration, we work on the entire knife, restoring its geometry, finish and sharpness as far as the condition of the knife allows.

The work may include removing rust and scratches, thinning and correcting the blade geometry, polishing and restoring the blade finish, as well as complete sharpening of the cutting edge.

Each knife is assessed individually, and the restoration is tailored to its condition and what can realistically be achieved.

This service is suitable for:

• Older Japanese knives that need to be brought back to life
