Kashima RS-60 is a series of knives with truly excellent properties, manufactured in the Japanese knife city of Seki City. The knives feel comfortable in the hand thanks to their well-balanced design and the rounded handle made of mixed pakka wood. The knife has just the right weight, with the balance point just in front of the bolster. The steel used in the knives is called RS-60, which is a stainless single steel hardened to 60 HRC. In other words, it is a very hard steel that holds its edge well while also being easy to sharpen. Thanks to its very thin blade, this knife cuts extremely well, while its smooth curves make it comfortable to work with.
