Diamond paste 1 micron

DMT Dia-Paste™ is an oil-based diamond paste for polishing and finishing on strops, leather, or other flat surfaces. The paste helps you create a sharper and more durable edge with a high-polished finish and reduced cutting resistance.Perfect as a final step after sharpening on wet stones, or for ongoing maintenance between sharpening sessions. The diamond paste works excellently for kitchen knives, straight razors, wood tools, and other precision tools where maximizing sharpness and finish is desired.

Dia-Paste is available in 3 grits, which can be purchased individually or as a set. All come in practical 2-gram syringes:

• 6 micron / 4000 mesh – Removes fine scratches and provides initial polishing
• 3 micron / 8000 mesh – Creates a shiny and very sharp edge
• 1 micron / 15000 mesh – For mirror-polished finish and maximum sharpness

Apply a small amount of paste to a strop or other flat surface. Then draw the edge over the surface with a controlled angle and light pressure until the desired result is achieved.
